What is NSC?
NSC- National Safety Code is a set of rules carried by the provincial regulations. NSC defines the complete management (arrangements) and performance requirements for the commercial carriers and the minimum safety measures for commercial drivers and vehicles.
What commercial carriers come under this NSC program?
- Commercially licensed vehicles with a gross weight of over 5,000 kg.
- Carriers are operating under the PTA – Passenger Transportation ACT.
- Commercial vehicles with more than 10 passengers (plus driver) capacity.
