Partners in Protection (PIP) is a co-operative program where CBSA and private industry together intensify border security and supply chain integrity.
Like C-TPAT, this PIP program is a voluntary program that requires no fee to become a member. Crossing borders and inspecting cargos are time-consuming processes for all commercial carriers. PIP’s objective is to streamline the whole shipment inspection process in an effective way to reduce the time during border crossing and supporting border custom agents to concentrate on high-risk companies that indulge in crossing border shipments.
Benefits:
After applying to participate in the program, the CBSA will assess your company’s physical, infrastructural, and procedural security and recommend necessary improvements.
A.D. Service helps companies with PIP certification, PIP validation, and site audits.
